Third Annual First Foliage Festival - September 29th, 2012

Hard by the Canadian Border, we are the place where Fall Foliage Starts.  We close down Maint Street in Newport, bring in some great music, offer up our Annual Chilifest and celebrate the beginning of Fall, one of our four favorite seasons in the Kingdom.  There's a craftsfair at the Gateway Center, a Quilt Festival in the Muncipal Building. And we hold a photograph contest of the best foliage pictures taken in Orleans and northern Essex Counties in September.
